Bringing the Bible into Ancient Times, not modern times

"'You've got to bring the bible into modern times.' That's exactly the opposite of what you should do. You never want to bring the Bible into modern times. You want to bring people back into ancient times. When you teach the Word of God, you want to recreate the setting so the person is there, so the Bible comes through with its divine message in its original context. Anything less is robbing Scriptures, snatching verses here and there to make it mean whatever they want" (John MacArthur).

Do you teach the Bible in a way that does not rob the Scriptures, but instead returns glory to God?

Challenged,
Brendon

I believe the Word of God is not limited in time and space, but we are ones who twist and tarnish the perfect wisdom and love contained in each letter, just because we ourselves are limited in time and space. Especially, thanks to the Relativism, we people LOVE to read things only we want to read and see only wat we want to see. Best way for us not to destroy true will and power of the God behind the Scripture is putting ourselves into the ancient time. It makes sense.
